French fries are going upscale. A zesty sauce made with lemon and oregano adds zip and contrast to savory Sysco french fries. Serve these as a starter, side or sharable bar snack.
For the Peri Peri Fries
- In a bowl, combine the paprika, ground ginger, ground cardamom, granulated garlic, granulated onion, cayenne pepper and salt.
- Fry the french fries according to package directions and then drain. Toss the hot fries with the honey, sesame seeds and spice mix.
- Garnish with the green onions and serve with the lemon-oregano sauce.
