Miami’s Little Havana is known for its meat-heavy Cuban sandwiches. In this interpretation, a cross between a Cuban sandwich and a burger, ham and shaved pork loin are combined with Fire River Farms ground beef. Sliced Swiss cheese and dill pickles add the crowning touches.
- Grill burger to desired doneness, melting cheese on top of the patty, and season on both sides with salt and pepper.
- Set aside and keep warm. Combine mayonnaise and mustard and smear on bottom bun.
- Place the burger on the bottom bun and shingle cooked pork loin on top. Pile on the sliced ham and top with pickles.
- Place the top bun on the burger and press in a panini press, if available, for 1 to 2 minutes.
