Cajun Bacon-Garlic Shrimp & Grits

All-natural, chemical-free shrimp.

Cajun Garlic Shrimp

Grits

  1. Heat broth to a simmer in a saucepan over medium-high heat; whisk in grits.
  2. Reduce heat to medium-low; cook until thickened, about 7 minutes, whisking occasionally.
  3. Stir in cream, cheese, butter and salt. Hold warm in a steam table for service. Makes about 4½ cups.

Cajun Garlic Shrimp

  1. Toss all ingredients in a bowl. Refrigerate in an airtight container 30 minutes or up to 24 hours.

For serving

  1. Cook bacon over medium-high heat in a sauté pan until crisp, about 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
  2. Add shrimp mixture and jalapeño; cook until shrimp turn opaque throughout, about 5 minutes, turning once.
  3. Serve grits topped with shrimp-bacon mixture and sprinkle with green onions.
