- For the pastry, on a lined sheet pan, bake the pastry from frozen in a 350°F oven for 15–17 minutes turning half way. Once done let sit at room temperature. For best results with this recipe, bake the pastry the day before.
- For the assemble, slice the pastry lengthwise as if you were making a sandwich, spread down a layer of Nutella on the bottom and a layer of the strawberry preserve on the top. Place 2–3 large marshmallows on top of the Nutella and place in the oven for 1–2 minutes to crisp up the pastry. Remove and if you need to toast the marshmallow more to get that campfire effect, use a torch. Place the sliced fresh strawberries on top of the marshmallows and then close the pastry. Place on a plate and garnish with more strawberries and drizzle some caramel sauce and optional powdered sugar.
