Directions
- For the gravy, follow the directions on the package and reserve hot.
- For the hot honey hot sauce, in a pot bring the hot sauce and hot honey to a boil and then let cool down. Place in a squeeze bottle and can be kept at room temperature.
- For the cheesy waffle, boil in the bag the casserole, in a pot of water to activate the starch. Chill when done. Mix the buttermilk pancake with water until smooth. Fold in the chilled hash brown casserole mix.
- Pre-heat waffle iron and spray lightly with pan-spray. Portion waffle mix onto heated waffle iron and cook until set and golden brown in color.
- Prepare chicken tenders and cook until they reach a minimum of 165°F. Toss with the hot honey hot sauce and reserve.
- Place the waffles on a heated plate. Top with crispy hot honey chicken tenders and drizzle with Maple syrup.
- Serve with a side of country pepper gravy, garnish with chopped green onion, and serve.
