Asian Chicken Salad With Peanut Sauce

Every operator should have a go-to Asian chicken salad on the menu.

Perfect for a light lunch or dinner, this classic Asian Chicken Salad recipe begins with a colorful combo of shredded cabbage, carrots and red peppers. A homemade peanut sauce with a Sriracha kick seals the deal.

PEANUT SAUCE

ASIAN CHICKEN SALAD

Directions

FOR THE PEANUT SAUCE

  1. In a small bowl, mix all the ingredients until thoroughly combined. (The sauce should be thin enough to drizzle with a spoon.) Set aside.

FOR THE CHICKEN SALAD

  1. In a large bowl, combine the cabbage, spring mix, carrots, onion, pepper, chicken and peanuts.
  2. Toss the salad with the vinegar and lime juice and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. To plate the salad, drizzle with a few teaspoons of peanut sauce, top with crunchy wontons, sesame seeds and cilantro leaves as garnish.
