Red Barn Market Providing Customers With Hard To Find Essentials

On a typical Saturday, you can find Aaron and Barb Roth on their family-owned and operated apple farm in Lowell, Michigan. Red Barn Market includes a café & ice cream shop, a farm store with local raw honey, jams & salsas, and a barnyard that is home to many farm animals all year long.

You can imagine the adjustment that set in with an operation of this magnitude when the coronavirus struck. Despite the changes, Aaron and Barb did not slow down. They immediately went to work on their Pop-Up Shop to bring essential groceries and staple pantry items to their community. They added freezers and coolers, filling them with beef, pork, chicken, milk, eggs, cheese, and bread. They pushed tables together to make produce displays and lined more tables with dry goods, bleach, paper towels, and toilet paper. They vowed to stay open and continue to serve the community during this pandemic.

Communities all over the country are struggling, but with the help of local partners like Aaron and Barb at Red Barn Market, we will pull through this crisis. Barb posted this video on their Facebook page to help drive excitement about the products that they have available. Who doesn’t want to support great operators who are passionate about their community like Red Barn Market?
